WP1- µFabrication will be led by ChipShop. Within this workpackage the design of single modules and the overall system will be done. Various technologies for the realization of such hybrid systems consisting of different materials with numerous functional elements need to be established, and finally the modules and the overall system need to be realized and their fluid dynamics characterized. The overall objective of the WP is to design and manufacture the micro reactor systems that will be used in WP2 for catalyst and process screening and the characterisation of the integrated bioprocesses. Specifications from WP2 and CFD modelling from WP9 will assist in designing the units. Production scale up via numbering-up of microreactors is the second major application field for the developments of this WP. Partners involved: DTU, GUT, IXF, UL
