WP7 Stability, stabilization and immobilization

WP7. Stability, stabilization and immobilization led by ULUND. Enzyme stabilization by immobilization and entrapment in conventional reactors and in µ structures will be studied by ULUND, UL, VITO and LK. Further in this WP it is intended to use state of the art and beyond state of the art methodologies to identify inactivation mechanisms of omega-transaminases and use that knowledge for stabilization and/or immobilization strategies to increase their operational stability in a rational way. In addition, stabilization using specific scavengers of inactivating agents and general stabilizing additives will be evaluated. Partners involved: UL, UNIMAN, VITO, LK
